welcome to my blog,here you will find bits and pieces of me... and the way I see things. Being passionate about photography is in my nature. I have always had a fascination with art and imagery. As a teen, I would spend my money on magazines, and every square inch of my room was covered like wallpaper with ads that provoked specific emotions. I see passion, drama, truth and beauty in every moment. I cannot help but translate that into my work. As a photographer, my goal is to create stunning photos. I find a sense of fulfillment in this art that I don’t find anywhere else. All of my passions (like my music and my family ) influence and affect my photographs. I am a hopeless romantic with a flare for style and glamour. I’m relaxed and fun, and I tend to babble if I’m excited or nervous :) You should know: photography is not my “job”. It is my obsession, Im intoxicated by it. Having you as my client and inspiration will bring my dreams to life.xoxo B

During the next few days my blog will be undergoing a makeover. I dont feel the need to completely shut it down, but I do ask you to forgive the mess ….
I took a few pics of my newly engaged best friend! We met when we were 12, lived only two houses apart and have been BFF since. We all have that friend that stuck regardless of the drama or what changed as we grew older…well she is mine. I resent Ben a little for stealing her away,(2 months after I became single again, mind you … which I thought was total crap) but he has been growing on me. We always have to much fun together! Although I regret hopping in most of these cause I was planing on staying BEHIND the camera and was hardly ready for the day! Me and C cant resist a photo opt. love you both and congrats!

The heart is something bewildering, something significant and to keep safe. It is easily bruised and at times void of color. Although the cracks can heal, the scars remain to remind us to value its safety. But when you do choose to share the most import thing you have to give… don’t look down at those scars. Don’t taint the rosy dusky hue with the grays of past pain. Love ….real honest true love doesn’t happen that often in real life. People throw that word around recklessly, maybe out of desperation to be in love or be needed. But believe in love, the weightless no bounds kind. Find the keeper to your heart and value that persons even more than your own.

So due to many many request I have decied to open enrollment for my summer workshop. The date is saturday june 12th, 2010 and its gonna be a blast so I really hope those of you who are out of state will have enough notice to join us. I have pre enrolled 4 of the spots already so there are 8 left. I wont be doing anymore until 2011

We will be covering beginners basics of your camera and natural lighting (if needed), learning to direct your clients to create the look you want, two on location shoots with some beautiful people, a question and answer portion, catered lunch and a passion filled day with fellow photographers. I want to keep the group fairly small so I can have one on one time helping them direct during our shoots. I want to share what makes me tick and how I am inspired, hopefully I can then help you find your inspiration

After the wonderful response I received on my last post, Blush is thrilled to host its very first workshop. I wanted to do something different than your typical workshop. I want to help you find inspiration by showing you what works for me and how I direct my clients. So without further aduie Blush is announcing

With rapture will be held on saturday March 27th 2010. We will be covering beginners basics of your camera and natural lighting, learning to direct your clients to create the look you want, two on location shoots with some beautiful people, a question and answer portion, catered lunch and a passion filled day with fellow photographers. I want to keep the group fairly small so I can have one on one time helping them direct during our shoots. I will be taking 8 to 12 photographers and since it is my first workshop it will be at a discounted rate of $375.00

So I am toying with the idea of putting together a workshop. I always say I will not do a full blown workshop and I still dont think I ever will. But I feel like posing and the beginners basics are something I could be good at teaching. I want to share what makes me tick and how I find inspiration. How I pose couples and get them comfortable with creating the look we want, then the basics of lighting and your camera.
So if you think spending a day with some beautiful people and yours truly is something you would like to do, leave me a comment. I am just little old me ….but I feel posing and setting a mood is what I do best. I am seriously contemplating this and would love feed back on what YOU would like to learn or if anyone is even interested.
If I get enough of a response I would be happy to share how I see the world. I think we could all use a little more passion in our lives

UPDATE :
I have found a nanny for my kids, thank you soooo much to all that contacted me and I am so sorry I didnt have time to reply to everyone. I will be contacting a few of you to use as possible back ups. If you emailed me about the personal assistant I believe I have found someone, but it is not for sure yet. I will keep everyone posted and I still would love to have some of you assist me on shoots and wedding days. Thanks again and if i didnt reply please dont take it personal, I got a large response
