Blush Photography

ok, so  I had this theory greg would spot me and we would fall madly in love. Then he would write a album based off our romance and I could do the photography for the album cover. Can you see it?? lol jk a girl can dream right. I will have a few band pics on my personal blog after this weekend.  I was in heaven and he is so amazin…I love him.

side note: Im MOVING and we all know how big of a pain moving is!!!! so I will be out of the office until monday. If its urgent I will have “some” access. thanks for your understanding

My favorite place in the whole world is a back road on a summer/fall evening. One of my best friends megan and I were out walking and wildflower picking. We took a few of ourselves and they turned out pretty cute even though we werent planning on it. My thoughts are always lucid and I feel my most inspired when Im outside somewhere rural. I will have more on my personal blog later tonight.

I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful friends….Megan could not of come into my life at a better time. Funny how those things work but I just wanted her know that I heart her.

Im happy to start a fresh year.The feeling of a clean canvas to be painted on, Or in my world a empty memory card to be filled. Here are some things that will be inspiring me this year. I love beautiful filmed movies…the ones with all the romance and I can see picture after picture.

hope everyone had a thrilling new years. me and my bf since the age of 12 just ran around downtown got sushi….good times. I love holidays cause I can go overboard with my makeup haha

My dreams and goals

My first year has be amazing. Im very critical of my work and want more….more emotion more of a mood set. But these things will come with practice and time spent with my camera in hand. So Im glad to say a year is done and I can start on what I will learn in year 2.
I say with my photos I want people to see a story. Im havent mastered this yet, and Im excited to learn more so my eyes and heart can be translated. Im sure through the years you will see parts of me and my life in my archives. As life rolls on and and I have new highs and lows, there will be new daydreams created in my mind…new stories of me to tell with you/my clients as the actors. 
I always base the feel around the people and who THEY are, but part of me always shines through. I see pretty things, like pretty pictures, but most of all Im a romantic …. I like to be swept away.

 So thank you for letting me play out my silent movie….. a mini record of me will be kept through you.

me and winter had a blast in az! I cant wait for her wedding at the end of the month!

we had work and play! In AZ  they have a arts festival called first friday. A bunch of artist set up stuff the first friday of every month it was a lot of fun! we also got tickets to the jazz suns game and had some great sushi! thanks everyone for such a great time!

I waited 5 months for nikon to release the camera I was on the wait list for. Patience isnt one of my gifts I was like a child waiting for christmas, the fall leaves screamed for a shoot…but I still didnt have my camera. The day after thanksgiving 2007 I got it! I feel so blessed to have the people in my life I did. They pushed me and helped build my confidence saying…”yes brooke you can do it.. you want it so do it” It took me years to get the guts to give this dream a shot. I was to afraid cause if I failed at it …I couldnt tell myself “one day”! well I did it and Im so excited to keep learning and growing. My Life for the last while hasnt been easy. My kids and my pictures have been my saving grace. I think the lord knew that this would help me stand strong and has blessed me, I give full credit to him.  I cant wait to see what happens in year 2, I have big goals. 

here are a few pics of my very first shoot with my kit kat. …..scary learning your setting in manuel and the edits are the original edits. hahah super scary! To anyone working on their dream just spend your hours and it will come. I promise!  I had been playing with ps before I had my camera so I did have a little bit of a head start there.

To answer some recent emails I have gotten. I shoot with a nikon d300 dont skimp on your glass, I dont use a lot of actions, I own some but my look is achieved for the most part in ps cs3. you get sharpness and clarity when you pick your light well. the coolest spot in the world wont ever work if the light in there stinks I do use a reflector sometimes only if its needed in full backlighting. and I think thats about it

The long awaited twlight movie.. yep I saw it! I wish it could have been a 8 hour movie and not left out a single detail like the book. but thats showbussiness right. ok my rants and raves. A rave ..EDWARD ..NUFF SAID.  the bella they picked was perfect. I heard people say they think the movie was cheaply made…I agree and disagree the look they needed was kinda grey to fit the story and the mood was set well. But I do think now that they see the crazy following will go, the next movie will have more money. plus the 2nd books my fav. I do think if you haven’t read the books you wouldn’t like the movie. the characters weren’t supported well. You didnt get enough background unless you had already read the books. but I will say again the 2nd book does get more in depth with the characters so the next movies where Im betting my money! but all in all I loved it but…I was just there for edward. oh and I wasn’t expecting to laugh as much as I did! the first school scene is hilarious!

I dont wanna hear any whining about the movie on here hahaha ….Im blissful or blinded by edward so dont hate
