Im finally getting around to bloggin one of my seniors. This doll is from Wyoming and was so sweet and soft spoken during our shoot. But I saw some sass in there and highly doubt shes all sugar and no spice. lol enjoy

We had to rush this couples sessions and edits. They only booked me about one month prior to their wedding! eek but we got it done, beautifully if I do say so myself. I loved her soft freckles. I have been asked why I dont always fix hair when its messy or blown but I love the realness and the mood it help create.  enjoy … you will get a taste of my blush and my creamy vintage edits, hope you like the mix up.

Also for fellow photographers that have questions they email me… I try my best to answer what I can, when I have the time. I am kinda hit and miss. I dont want you to think in ANY WAY Im just being rude and not replying, but Im super busy and have two kidlets I try to juggle! To answer a lot of the messages, Im still not doing any workshops and believe me if I ever got the GUTS to do one I would announce it on my blog. The idea of teaching scares the crud outta me lol. Maybe one day and I am flattered you guys would like to learn from me. thanks for understanding, you guys rock

from yesterdays wedding

Im a huge fan of imogen heap and was thrilled while downloading her new album at midnight last night! I would kill to get in her head for just a minute. She is one of the artist that inspires my work, music and my photos go hand and hand. So many of my favorite “pre” envisioned shots have a song that inspired them. Now if only I was able to write my own music lol ….enjoy one of the goodies from the new album. I m off to shoot a wedding mwah B

 I got this anonymous comment with the below post….I was shocked and found it kinda funny as I read it.

-You love your clients because you pre-screen them! You hold consultations & then deny people that aren’t “pretty” in your opinion. Everyone knows this & I think it’s disgusting. Or maybe it’s just a big compliment to your clients, who knows.- 

Where in the world do people get this stuff? How many single moms do you know that have the luxury of being picky with work?? When friends comment to me that I seem to get beautiful people I HAVE JOKED!!!!!!! KEY WORD JOKED, that I make people send in a photo with their emails, thats how I get the “pretty” clients. But honestly COME ON people!!!! Do you REALLY think I do that?!?! This only fuels my feelings of being under a microscope…I feel I have to watch what I post, say or do, even if it is sarcasm or in my personal life. Give me a break guys, I know there are a lot of people who think they know me or what I am like, BUT you dont! You can’t judge me based off my blog. I don’t even MEET 70% of my clients till our shoot. (I didnt meet emily before hand either) so that throws the “screening process” theory out the window. I normally dont acknowledge critics but this one needed to be SET STRAIGHT. Its all just silliness, don’t believe everything you hear.  I love my clients because we have so much fun shooting NOT just because they are beautiful. Everyone is beautiful…I just try to bring it out

to set one more comment I have gotten straight!…..the reason my photos are good isnt JUST because I have good looking clients. If they are attractive it helps I know, but dont disregard me completely
