After the wonderful response I received on my last post, Blush is thrilled to host its very first workshop. I wanted to do something different than your typical workshop. I want to help you find inspiration by showing you what works for me and how I direct my clients. So without further aduie Blush is announcing

A photographers workshop for evoking passion

With rapture will be held  on saturday March 27th 2010. We will be covering beginners basics of your camera and natural lighting, learning to direct your clients to create the look you want, two on location shoots with some beautiful people, a question and answer portion, catered lunch and a passion filled day with fellow photographers.  I want to keep the group fairly small so I can have one on one time helping them direct during our shoots. I will be taking 8 to 12 photographers and since it is my first workshop it will be at a discounted rate of $375.00

So I am toying with the idea of putting together a workshop. I always say I will not do a full blown workshop and I still dont think I ever will. But I feel like posing and the beginners basics are something I could be good at teaching. I want to share what makes me tick and how I find inspiration. How I pose couples and get them comfortable with creating the look we want, then the basics of lighting and your camera.

So if you think spending a day with some beautiful people and yours truly is something you would like to do, leave me a comment. I am just little old me ….but I feel posing and setting a mood is what I do best. I am seriously contemplating this and would love feed back on what YOU would like to learn or if anyone is even interested.

If I get enough of a response I would be happy to share how I see the world. I think we could all use a little more passion in our lives

UPDATE :

I have found a nanny for my kids, thank you soooo much to all that contacted me and I am so sorry I didnt have time to reply to everyone. I will be contacting a few of you to use as possible back ups. If you emailed me about the personal assistant I believe I have found someone, but it is not for sure yet. I will keep everyone posted and I still would love to have some of you assist me on shoots and wedding days. Thanks again and if i didnt reply please dont take it personal, I got a large response

I honestly struggled downsizing this blog post. YES it is downsized….there were so many perfect moments and a ROCKING party I wanted to share them all! Enjoy one of my top weddings from 2009. I left this one In awe ( and tears cause I am a baby) Its was something really special, you were overwhelmed with how much they love each other, it was beautiful. Thank you so much to everyone that has emailed me. Due to the number of responses I havent been able to get back to everyone yet. I havent chosen anyone and will be contacting you either way! I will want to sit down and meet with a few once I narrow them down. I want to make sure our personalities get along and it will create the best interaction for my clients. thank you thank you thank you!

I am also in need of a part time nanny. I have two beautiful children and want consistency for them. I have used wonderful sitters but I need someone who can pick up my kitkat (aka kaitlyn) from school if I am shooting a wedding ect. So if anyone has someone that would recommend I would also like to interview them. A flexible schedule is needed due to the nature of this business. As far as my shoots go I am normally only gone for about three hours. I live in Layton and would want someone rather close

My knees have finally buckled and I am in need of a part time assistant. I am looking for someone who can assist me on shoots and take care of all office based work. Which would include print orders, emails, session confirmation phone calls, and bookings. My new years resolution was to have work go smoother and a part time assistant would be the biggest part of that
